Join us on Saturday, June 21st for Seedleaf’s Garden Bike & Walk Tour! Whether you prefer biking or walking, this is your chance to explore our vibrant community gardens, learn more about the work we do, and enjoy some fresh air and movement with friends and family.
When you donate to Seedleaf, your dollars help fund our mission of growing and sharing food in Lexington, reducing barriers to fresh, healthy produce for all, and sustaining programs like our market gardener program and our youth summer programming.
Our volunteers work towards a common goal: to nourish communities through growing and sharing food.
We are always looking for new people to come together to transform places into green areas.

Our Gardens
Seedleaf manages 10 free, you-pick gardens, a 2-acre urban farm in and around downtown Lexington that are open to the public. Outside of these urban spaces, Seedleaf manages Headwater Farm, 30 acres of pristine farm land in North Fayette county which is open by appointment and for field trips.
Our London Ferrell Community Garden has plots available for rent on a sliding scale. Email Garden@seedleaf.org to inquire about plot rentals and requirements.
Use the map to locate your nearest free, you-pick community garden location.

Headwater Farm
Seedleaf's Headwater Farm is a 30-acre farm located in North Lexington near I-64's Haley Road exit. As a region known for horse farms and tobacco, Headwater Farm provides an opportunity for Lexington to join a growing national conversation of agrarian thinkers and farmers who want to create a future of agriculture that encourages small scale growers, environmentally sustainable cultivation practices and that utilizes the latest technology to compliment the work of growers in the field.
Our vision for this project is rooted deeply in community as the preserved farm land that comprises the bluegrass landscape represents the natural wealth that all Kentuckians share. Headwater Farm is open for scheduled group visits and field trips. Please email farm@seedleaf.org for more information on how to visit.
