Tiny, yet powerful, little packages to feed us and give us endless hours of pleasure and excuses to get dirty and sweaty, while we sow, tend, and harvest this good food. This time of year, it’s thrilling to think of the potential lying in wait. Ah, the suspense!
Further proof that little packages can yield great gifts, these were all donated by two small seed companies with big hearts, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange and High Mowing Organic Seeds. Big thanks! We can’t wait to see how these grow!

I have used High Mowing for a school fundraiser, and they were great! I am glad to know that I am supporting a company that puts its seeds where its mouth is—into supporting local, urban agriculture.
