Seedleaf has received so many gifts of time and effort over the past five years, way more than we can cover in a month’s worth of posts. But during this season of harvest and thanksgiving, we have 30 we’d like to remember.
Look at that photo–have you ever seen a group of people more happy about decomposing food waste? That’s our Master Community Composters–they love trash. That may be because they know that kitchen waste from 21 restaurants is moving through our low-tech system to bless our 16 gardens. And because these folks have been helping out ever since they completed the training, we owe them a serious thanks!
The Master Community Composter Training is a 6-week course designed to create composting experts who can then go teach others how to take care of kitchen waste via home composting. If you’d like to be involved, please email us (ryan@seedleaf.org) and we can make sure you get an application. This training runs from March to April.
You can echo our thanks and support Seedleaf in our work of nourishing communities by donating now through the GoodGiving Guide Challenge.
