Guest Chef Carolyn Gilles (Wholesome Chef) will lead the charge this week–you won’t want to miss this seasonal soup featuring Seedleaf Farms produce. And recovering summer VISTA Clint Buffington will be on hand to demonstrate some knife sharpening. Please RSVP ASAP emailing me (ryan@seedleaf.org) so we’ll know how many folks to expect. We ask for an $8 donation to cover our ingredients for this event. Also, please bring a container so that you can take home some of what we cook together.
What: Soups On (featuring Carolyn Gilles)
Where: Woodland Christian Church (530 E. High)
When: Thursday, September 6th, 6-8pm

WHAT a great time. I was so excited to not only get to meet a Chef I have admired for some time and wanted to meet, but to also get to cook with and learn from! How Amazing. And..of course..the soup was simply divine.
I’m glad this went well, Robin. And we too were honored to get to work with Carolyn on this. Please keep us in mind this week for a tomato canning event at Epworth UMC and learn more about putting tomatoes up. And for Soups On in October we’ll have a guest chef showing us how to make a Mexican squash soup–should be fun!
