Confrontation Point Ministries has been partnering with us since 2009. This particular group was part of a week long mission of environmental service and care. They came from southern Indiana to serve in and around our community with other nonprofits and environmental organizations. We were so glad they could be a part of Seedleaf’s story.
The group of 10 came out to the London Ferrill Community Garden and helped us with putting mulch around each tree in the urban orchard, taking care of some rather large fallen branches in the prayer labyrinth, pulling out the old kale, watering all the rows, and even removing hundreds of cabbage shield bugs from our Brussels sprouts and cabbages. It was a busy morning, but the small group rocked it out.
