Our friend John Walker of FaithFeeds hosts the following discussions on gardening and eating. Don’t miss these educational offerings for kitchen gardeners.
The mission of Your Edible Garden is to connect people who grow food, educate growers on ways to garden that is sustainable and healthy, and to increase awareness of opportunities to share produce with those at risk for hungry through gleaning and the Plant a Row philosophy – growing produce designated for donation. Our network of home gardeners meet monthly with potluck dinner followed by garden talk.
Any new or seasoned gardener is welcome to attend the meetings, participation in a Faith Feeds gleaning program is not required.
All meetings are free of charge, compliments of Faith Feeds. Meetings are held at Beaumont Presbyterian Church, 1070 Lane Allen Road in Lexington on the last Monday of each month.
